OUR MISSION
Our mission is to educate, enlighten, and bring the hope of healing to people through the heartfelt testimonies of those who have chosen abortion, suffered the consequences, and accepted God's forgiveness and healing.
OUR VISION
Genuine testimonies will bring out into the open the truth about abortion. The truth with unfold, as panelists reveal the consequences of having an abortion. The testimonies of God's healing will give hope to those living in guilt, shame, and silence from their abortion experiences.
Our Original Founders
SAUNDRA DECKER
Executive Director
Sandra Decker grew up as an extremely competitive child. Each weekend of her life was spent at a competition or a pageant, striving to win her next trophy, crown or title. Saundra finally reached her ultimate goal as she was crowned 1987 Miss West Virginia and competed in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. A few months after crowning the new Miss West Virginia, Saundra discovered that she was pregnant. Afraid to tell anyone, she chose abortion. A whirlwind of depression, low self-esteem and consequences led her to choosing abortion a second time. Miss Decker struggled for over 20 years emotionally until she finally gave her life to Christ in 2003. She found specific healing in a post abortion bible study, Forgiven and Set Free. The Lord has guided Saundra on a journey to help women who are hurting from their abortions. She has been active in leading Surrendering the Secret, sharing her testimony and ministering to post abortive women. Saundra recently founded Abortion Hurts God Heals! – a ministry of The Justice Foundation, where she resides as the Executive Director.
VIRGINIA LANGE
Director of Operations
Virginia Lange found herself at the abortion clinic in 1981, on her twentieth birthday, making a choice that she knew was wrong. Having been raised in a stable family with Christian parents who set high standards and had high expectations for her future, she was deeply afraid of the shame that exposing her pregnancy would cause. She was a sophomore in college, had just been accepted into nursing school, and was in a budding romance with the man who would eventually become her husband. He was not the father, however. Fearful of losing this new relationship and the approval of her parents, Virginia fell for the lie that she had no other option but abortion. She kept her secret for 10 years before confessing to her family and church. God continued to work in her life until His perfect timing was revealed. A sister in Christ encouraged Virginia to attend the Surrendering the Secret (STS) bible study ,where she found the spiritual and emotional healing for which she had been yearning for over thirty years. She has become an STS bible study leader and serves as Financial Director for the Abortion Hurts.God Heals! ministry.
